As Freenome’s Vice President of Finance, Clinton leads Strategic Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, SOX, and SEC Reporting. With nearly 20 years of finance experience in the life sciences sector, he has worked across both pre-commercial stage biotechs and large multinational biopharma organizations.

Before joining Freenome, Clinton served as Vice President of Corporate Finance at Ascendis Pharma, spearheading the global development of the Financial Planning and Strategic Finance functions. His leadership was integral to the company’s first product approval and commercial launch. He also spent over a decade at Gilead Sciences, where he held progressively senior finance roles and contributed to the Finance teams at Medivation and Exelixis.

Clinton holds an MBA from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
